BulkQR processes spreadsheets and images in your browser. Learn what stays on your device and what the server receives.

The short version

BulkQR is a set of browser-based QR tools. The CSV/Excel files you upload, the images you decode, and the content you encode are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Files and QR contents

  • Spreadsheets — CSV, TSV, and Excel .xlsx files are parsed in your browser to build the preview and the ZIP download.
  • Images — QR codes in photos and screenshots are decoded locally with JavaScript and a canvas. The image never leaves your device.
  • Generated codes — QR images, SVGs, and the ZIP with manifest.csv are created in your browser and downloaded directly.
  • No account — the tools do not require sign-up, and we do not store a history of your batches or scans.

Because this processing happens locally, we cannot see your file names, spreadsheet rows, QR payloads, image contents, or WiFi passwords.

Information we do receive

Like any website, the hosting provider processes standard request data when your browser loads a page: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamps. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. It is not linked to the contents of files you process.

Cookies and local storage

  • A PARAGLIDE_LOCALE cookie remembers your language choice.
  • Your light/dark theme preference is stored in local storage.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

Analytics

This deployment does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts by default. If the operator enables analytics in the site settings, it may record page views and approximate location. Analytics never receives uploaded files or QR contents.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf. We do not sell personal information. QR codes you generate may be scanned by third-party camera apps; their handling of the decoded content is outside our control.

Children

The tools are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we do not store tool files, QR payloads, or user accounts, there is usually no stored profile to access, export, or delete. You may contact us with questions about request logs or this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the tools change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
